A blurb is a short description of a book that’s written to entice readers into buying the book. You’ll find the blurb on the dust jacket of a hardback novel, on the back cover of a paperback, or even on an Amazon page. Your book cover captures the reader’s attention first, but it’s the blurb’s job to make the sale.
In this workshop, we’ll be following a specific formula you can use for writing your blurb, as well as notable blurbs that sealed the deal for thousands of readers.
“What if my book isn’t finished yet?” Then thank us later for this important and relevant workshop. You’ll be so glad to have this information at your disposal. Writing a blurb is usually one of the most difficult things a writer will take on.
